The Stow Parks and Recreation Department and the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library have collaborated to bring a CONNECT WITH NATURE series of events to our communities. These programs are a great way for residents to be re-introduced to our wonderful parks while they enjoy the outdoors, learn about plants and animals, and get crafty.
This past fall, we had a great response to the new programming we offered. Many people enjoyed the Sunset Salutations Yoga and Stargazing sessions, Haunted Hearth Stories for Adults, Charcuterie Styling for the Holidays, Leaf Hunts, Nature Hikes, and Wings and Wine - a fun night of crafting a bird house with wine corks.
This winter and spring, nature programming will include Winter Tree Identification for Families, Learn OWL About It!, St. Patty’s Day Trivia, Owl Prowl, and Earth Fest: Celebrate the Earth!
