The Stow Senior Center is pleased to have offered two exciting seasonal trips that created special experiences for local seniors. First, was a visit to Hale Farm & Village in Bath, Ohio, where guests explored a living history museum that brings the 19th century to life. On this trip, participants enjoyed self-guided tours of the historical buildings, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and scenic views of the picturesque grounds. With the Thanksgiving season approaching, Hale Farm & Village provided the perfect setting to celebrate the fall season and step back in time.
Additionally, the Stow Senior Center was thrilled to offer an exclusive opportunity to experience a spectacular Christmas Cabaret presented by Spotlight Entertainment at the Ohio Theater. This holiday show featured the area's best live band and vocalist performing tribute renditions of iconic Christmas songs from legendary artists such as The Carpenters, Elvis, Mariah Carey, Nat King Cole, Michael Bublé, Bing Crosby, and more. Guests enjoyed holiday classics like "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Blue Christmas," "Merry Christmas Darling," and "White Christmas." The trip included a delightful dinner at Dutch Valley Restaurant, admission to the show, and time for gift shop and bakery shopping before dinner – all designed to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
