FITNESS ROOM POLICY AND RULES
I. Employee Use
A. Employees using this facility must sign in on the sign in sheet provided in the fitness room.
B. Proper attire is required. No person using this facility shall do so without a shirt and shoes.
C. Be courteous to the next user by wiping down the equipment when finished.
D. Please return weights (plates and dumbbells) to their proper racks and machine accessories to the storage hooks when you have finished your workout.
E. Rock and Roll ain’t noise pollution; however, when using the audio equipment, please maintain a reasonable decibel level (not too loud).
F. You are encouraged to employ proper fitness room etiquette when using this facility. Be courteous to others by providing spots, cleaning up after use, working efficiently, allowing others access to equipment, etc.
G. Do not use the equipment for anything other than its intended purpose. Exercise caution and use equipment only in a safe manner. Do not abuse the equipment. Injury could result.
II. Guest Use
A. Guests visiting the fitness room must be at least 16 years old, an immediate relative of a City employee and must be accompanied by the City employee. No more than one (1) guest per employee per visit.
B. Guests must sign in with the employee on the sign in sheet.
C. Employees who bring a guest to this facility are solely responsible for the actions of their guest while on City property. Guest visiting the fitness room should not be in any other part of the Safety Building without permission.
III. Acknowledgment
Use of the fitness room is limited to full-time and part-time employees only and their guests. Employees not familiar with the facility are encouraged to seek orientation to the equipment from a representative of the Fitness Room Committee (Jeff Film, Mark Stone, or Tony Catalona) prior to use. A Safety Building access card is available through the Police Department.
By entering this facility, each employee and guest expressly agree to the above terms and conditions of use. Failing to abide by these terms and conditions may cause the employee and guest privileges to be revoked.
