GRAND MARSHAL: Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library - Celebrating 100 Years!
PARADE INFORMATION
The 66th annual parade will take place on the Fourth of July, and it steps off at 10:00am and travels down Kent Road past Holy Family Church, and ends at Park Drive.
We ask that you read the parade rules and procedures carefully, and share them with all people that are participating in your parade entry on the day of the parade. Safety is of utmost importance for this event.
The City of Stow Commission on Inclusion has Sensory Bags available to check out for use during the parade. These are for those families that do not have resources available for their child to enjoy the parade and include noise canceling headphones and sunglasses. You may come to the Parks and Recreation office, 3760 Darrow Rd., to check them out, July 1, 2, or 3, 8:00AM – 4:30PM. The bags should be returned to our office on Monday, July 8.
Please note that we do not designate specific parking spaces, including handicapped parking, for the parade. While we do indicate areas where parking is not permitted, we do not provide designated parking spaces. Attendees are responsible for finding suitable parking in permissible areas. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Parade attendees - there will be NO PARKING on either side of these roads, until 1 PM:
- Englewood Dr. (from RT 59) to Park Dr., Park Dr. to Lakeview Dr., and Lakeview to Graham.
- Charring Cross DR. from RT 59 to Graham Rd.
ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
Kent Road (SR 59)
Kent Road will be closed from Marsh Road to McCormick Road in the Village of Silver Lake at the following estimated times:
- 7:15am to 8:30am
- 9:30am to 12:30pm
Darrow Road (SR 91)
Darrow Road will be closed from Graham Road to Pinehurst Road in the City of Munroe Falls at the following estimated times:
- 7:15am to 8:30am
- 9:30am to 12:30pm
Emergency vehicles will be the only through traffic allowed during the restricted periods. Some businesses in the area will remain open, and employees needing to access their workplaces should use Fishcreek Road to reach Kent Road (SR59).

PARADE PARTICIPANTS IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Once your parade unit reaches the end point of the parade route past Holy Family Church, you must turn right onto Englewood Drive, and then turn right onto Park Drive, and then left onto Lakeview Drive. Police will be on hand to keep units moving in this pattern. You may stop momentarily to deboard unsecure passengers, and then you MUST keep vehicles moving.
- Once on Lakeview Drive, travel north to Graham Road, where there is a traffic light. From there, you are on your way. Lakeview School is available to use as a gathering point before and after the parade. You may park vehicles there.
