Do you ever wonder where insects make their homes? How about what types of tiny organisms live in the streams? Do you like to play with sticks and stomp in the stream? Then this event is for you! We will read about where our native insects, especially bees, live and then head down to the stream where we will search for macroinvertebrates! Then we will collect leaves and sticks to create our own bug hotels to take home and create native insect habitat in your yard. 

Registration for this free program is required and begins July 15 at 9 AM. Please register each family and include the ages of each child that wishes to attend. To register, use button above, call (330) 688-3295, ext. 5, visit events.smfpl.org, or stop by the library.
