Important Information
You may reserve online or at Stow City Hall during our hours. City Hall is not adjacent to the campground
- Each campsite must be registered under an adult's name, and that adult cannot have more than one site at a time
- You will need your driver's license or photo ID, and your vehicle license plate number to reserve
- You may reserve campsites through the end of the camping season (October 31st), starting on February 10, 2026.
Refund Policy
We understand that plans may change, and we aim to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability. Please review our cancellation policy below:
- Campers may cancel or modify their reservations up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled arrival time (by 4:00 PM) through the confirmation email or the Campspot guest portal.
- Cancelations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 cancellation fee.
- Please note that once a reservation is confirmed, there are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or weather-related issues.
- Campers must utilize the confirmation email or the Campspot guest portal to manage their reservations.

About the Campground
Silver Springs Campground is owned by the City of Stow and operated by the Parks and Recreation Department since 1976. Nestled in Silver Springs Park in the Northeast corner of Stow, it is one of only a few municipally-operated campgrounds in Ohio. The City has been providing outdoor recreational opportunities at this site for over four decades, and the public has really taken advantage of it. They appreciate being able to enjoy the outdoor camping experience so close to home.

A simple, unplugged camping experience in the heart of Stow.
Silver Springs Campground is a low-impact, rustic camping experience for guests seeking simplicity and connection to the outdoors. With no permanent restrooms with running water, the site is designed for self-sufficient, self-contained campers who value nature, quiet, and an unplugged environment. Surrounded by natural beauty in our beautiful Silver Springs Park, and located just minutes from Stow’s other parks and attractions, Silver Springs Campground is the perfect place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature.
Campers have access to many amenities throughout Silver Springs Park while camping, including fishing at Heritage Lake, hiking on the trails in the woods, tot lot fun at SOAR playground, dog exercise at Bow Wow Beach, The AMP, concert nights + camping (coming soon), active recreation at the tennis and basketball courts, and throw-together games and activities in the many open fields. The campground is also adjacent to the Metro Parks' Bike and Hike Trail - ask the campground attendant for a Trail Guide. The facility has 27 campsites, some open and some shaded.

There are several water spigots scattered around the campground - no permanent hookups available. A trailer dump station is available for mobile units, and portable restrooms are on-site. Flush restrooms are also accessible at our ball field area daily from 6 AM to 10 PM during the camping season.
