As construction begins on the City’s long-anticipated outdoor performance venue, the community is invited to help keep the momentum going with a new series of pop-up events at the future home of The Amp.
Titled “The Amp: Building the Beat,” this seven-event pop-up series will take place on-site during the early construction phase. Designed to be simple, welcoming, and accessible for all ages, these events will be held in the parking lot area of the future amphitheater. Each gathering offers residents a chance to connect, celebrate progress, and experience the energy of the space—before the first official performance takes the stage.
“These pop-ups are about reminding the community that The Amp is no longer just an idea—it’s becoming a reality,” said Mayor John Pribonic. “After more than a year of planning and coordination, we’re excited to activate the space and invite residents to be part of the journey.”
Each event will be short, informal, and family-friendly, featuring interactive activities and small giveaways. Residents can stop by for just a few minutes or stay longer—whatever fits their schedule. The series reflects the inclusive, community-centered spirit that will define The Amp when it officially opens.
What to Expect
Pop-up activities throughout the series will include:
